While playing France involved in a great war I once even managed to somehow defeat the Germans, occupy them entirely, and all the UK mainland too (using a sneaky transport attack to land a perfect doomstack), yet my warscore was still slightly in the negative, just because my AI allies lost TONs of units in Germany and UK occupied some of my useless colonies (including wargoal).Īnd the AI kept sending me peace treaties demanding our dismantling/destruction and I kept getting Militancy hits every time for refusing it. The only way I ever found is to keep killing Prussia over and over again early, so they never form Germany.
Germany has infinite manpower and money, UK has infinite manpower, money, ships, industry, prestige, events favouring it heavily and a stupid english channel to shield it. I'm just tired of this stupidly overpowered alliance, it forms sooner or later in every single game and it's almost impossible to beat, partially due to how archaic the warscore system in this game is (heavily favoring land battles only).
